Booths Settle

The foodstore in Settle  was the fourth for the family based EH Booth & Co and is a dramatically styled modern store on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, with easy access to the historic market town centre.

An upward curving lightweight roof structure with clerestorey glazing provides natural light and ventilation into the main sales area, promoting a lively market hall atmosphere and an energy efficient space.

Enclosing walls are in random course natural stone and the roof construction is expressed in timber and steel trusses with a natural slate roof.
